Title IX Notification

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 protects people from sex discrimination in educational programs and activities. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 states:
“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.”

Students share responsibility with the staff, faculty, and administration for creating and maintaining an atmosphere that is conducive to learning and personal growth and respectful of the rights of others. All members of the community are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others.
