A Little Good News (September 17-21)

  1. A great number of students are on getting into their assigned seats, ready to learn, before the final bell rings.
  2. Thanks to all students, staff, and faculty for the extra patience and cooperation during MAP Testing week. A special appreciation to Ms. Redhouse, Mrs. Whitehead, Mr. Baldwin, Mr. Reynolds, and Mr. Hansen for additional help to keep the test running smoothly. Test results will be available soon!
  3. Whitehorse Volunteer's kicked off their year of service with helping at Miss Utah Navajo Pageant.  The volunteers were: Deshyla Endischee, Reshinda Jay, Briana Johnson, Lynelle Jones, Skyler Madison, Brandon Palmer, Leander Sam, Sidney Schaefer, and Melinda Toledo.
  4. Members of the high school football team intervened on the behalf of a 7th grader who was being bullied. The HS athletes stopped the bullying AND reported the bullying to an adult at home and an adult at school.

    I am very proud of our Whitehorse volunteers that stepped up at the last minute to help with the Miss Utah Navajo Pageant. Whitehorse Volunteers adopt a project and meet on Thuesdays after school in Mr. Reynolds room, room 28, to continue their service to the community. I hope to see you soon.
