  1. The school is starting to become a more professional learning environment. The Safe Transitions and Reduced Tardiness (START) program will help.
  2. Thanks to Mr. Lewis for helping the lunch line run smoothly.
  3. Native American Composers Apprenticeship Program (NACAP) participants elegantly introduced themselves in Navajo before ETHEL presented their original compositions to various audiences. Student composers included Celeste Lansing, Mishayla Mitchell, Ocianna Redbird, Brevin Norton, Sheldon Saltclah, Skyler Madison, Kathy Edaakie, Shaycie Yellowman, Nizhoni Spencer, and Tomasina Yellowman.
  4. Congratulations to the WHS Band who performed for Vicki Kennedy and Traci Slater-Rigaud out of Washington, DC, on Thursday, August 30. Jean Irwin (Utah Division of Arts and Museums) and Shirlee Silversmith (UT Division of Indian Affairs) were also in attendance.
