1. WHS students are attending classes on time at a terrific rate: 92% of students had zero or only 1 tardy during the month of November. 2. Students who have zero or only 1 tardy in December and NO referrals will be invited to the December PBS Party. PBS stands for Positive Behavior Support and is a system to address challenging behaviors by replacing them with pro-social actions. 3. 1. The military personnel monitoring the ASVAB test said, “This was the most respectful group with whom we have worked. WHS students were in a better test environment than other schools in the SJSD!” Thank you to the 10th and 11th graders! Nine WHS students honored our school during District Honor Band: Alyssa Begaye, Bryanna Armstrong, Nizhoni Spencer, Lindsey Pena, Josefina Begay, Sheldon Saltclah, Skylar Madison, Brevin Norton, and Cedale Armstrong. The 9th and 10th grade students who attended H.O.P.E. enjoyed the experiences. Kester Tapaha reported that students learned a lot and hopes to start a boys and girls group to further our young people’s learning in the area of suicide prevention. WHS celebrated the people who were 90% on time during the month of October. 71-87% of WHS students had only one tardy in October or no tardies in October.
