1. Eleven, 7th grade ladies; seven, 7th grade gentlemen; twelve, 8th grade ladies; and nine, 8th grade gentlemen showed improvement in Math or Language Arts as measured by the weekly YPP assessments! Watches are still available for students who show growth in January. 2. A group of students has formed a group called We Help Students. This group will be available, beginning in January, to talk to young people and provide peer tutoring. 3. 1. An increasing number of parents are calling to notify the school of an excused absence for sickness, sickness or death in the family, weather or road conditions making travel dangerous, or other causes. 2. Four students investigated a club at Kirtland Central High School; the club members help their peers with a range of issues. WHS students see potential to help out young people at WHS and will be organizing a club soon. 3. 1. Some 7th and 8th graders are making progress from one YPP test to the next. Who will make the greatest progress from Nov. 15 to Dec. 19 in Math? How about in Language Arts? 2. WHS hosted the JOM / IEC Song and Dance December 8. Thanks to all the dancers and singers who came out to support these fundraising efforts. 3. Several 9th and 10th grade students are participating in the opportunities to follow-up on the HOPE Training. 4. Thank you to the staff and faculty members who shared yummy treats through the Staff 12 Days of Xmas!

1. 93% of WHS students attended the November On Time Party. Thanks for all the efforts to be on time or early to all classes! 100% of WHS Teachers submitted lesson plans for the month of November! On November 30, we began to develop a common language regarding lesson planning so collaboration efforts will be more effective. 7th and 8th graders began to track progress on YPP testing. Who will make the greatest progress from Nov. 15 to Dec. 19? Students responded positively to the stories shared by Mr. Clayton Long on Friday, November 30.
