It is exciting to see the number of students interested in running for Student Council! Be sure you know your candidates and cheer them on during the April 10 Election Assembly.   2. Parents attending the SCC Meeting drafted some possible parent involvement actions that have the potential to address the positives and concerns observed by the Parent Climate Conference (PCC) participants. Watch for the ideas in the April Newsletter.   2. Teachers started to plan various teacher and school actions in order to positively impact the concerns observed by the PCC participants. 1. Most students (75% of the total population) were referral-free for 3rd Quarter; we had a party and played the best-ever game of Dodgeball!   2. Many students were recognized at the 3rd Quarter Awards Assembly. 1. The Parent Climate Conference was well-attended and several positives were noted: Teachers who know the content, lots of interactions between learners and learner to teacher, and teachers dressing professionally.   2.Students and teachers are working with the SAGE Training Tests in order to be as prepared as possible for the end-of-year tests.
